Aundha Nagnath is a town in Hingoli district, Maharashtra, India, best known for the Aundha Nagnath Temple, a revered Hindu temple. The town is also home to the Siddheshwar Dam, located about 15 km to the west, and is the proposed site for the LIGO-India Project, a gravitational wave detector situated 12 km away. Once completed, this facility will become the fifth of its kind globally, following Hanford and Livingston in the USA, Virgo in Italy, and KAGRA in Japan.
