Chikmagalur Itineraries

Day 1

Day 1: Mullayanagiri & Baba Budangiri

Start early to catch sunrise atop Mullayanagiri, Karnataka's highest peak. Then visit the syncretic Dattatreya Peetha at Baba Budangiri, followed by a coffee plantation tour and a traditional meal.

Day 2: Hebbe Falls & Kemmangundi

Drive to Hebbe Falls through coffee estates, trek or take a jeep to the waterfall, and enjoy a picnic. Later, explore Kemmangundi's viewpoints and gardens, once a summer retreat of the Mysore kings.

Drive to Kemmangundi, the former summer retreat of the Mysore Wadiyar kings, and trek to Z Point for panoramic valley views. In the afternoon, descend through coffee and areca nut estates to Hebbe Falls, a two-tiered cascade accessible by jeep and a short forest trek. Return to your homestay for a well-earned Malenadu-style dinner.
