The Dhubri-Phulbari Bridge is an under-construction four lane extradosed cable stay bridge over the Brahmaputra River between Assam and Meghalaya in North-East India. The Dhubri-Phulbari bridge, to be completed by 2028, would be India's second longest bridge over water after the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, and would span more than 19 km. This bridge, close to the Bangladesh border, will connect Assam's Dhubri with Meghalaya's Phulbari. It will fill in a missing link of National Highway 127B, connecting Dhubri by road to Tura, Nongstoin, and other towns in western and central Meghalaya. Civil works started in 2019–2020.

The palace was built by Raja Prabhat Chandra Barua of the Gauripur royal family on a small hill-top at Matiabagh, Gauripur on the banks of the Gadadhar river. It was the royal guest house and summer residence (Hawakhana) by the royal family of Gauripur, also known as the Rangamati Baruas. It is the home of Pramathesh Barua, the director of Bollywood film Devdas, as well as folk singer Pratima Barua Pandey. Matiabag Rajbari or Matiabag Palace is located in Gauripur in Dhubri district of Assam. Built between 1493 and 1519 after the Bengal conquest of Kamata, the mosque is considered to be the oldest in Assam, and an example of the late medieval Bengali architecture. The Panbari Mosque, also known as the Rangamati Mosque, is an historic mosque in northeast India and is considered to be the oldest mosque in the Indian state of Assam. The mosque is situated on the National Highway 17, near Panbari and Rangamati, approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) east from Dhubri town. This 15th to 16th century three-domed mosque presents an excellent example of great architectural achievements of the Sultanate of Bengal.
