Experiences

Biswa Bangla Park

Flexible

A park developed in 2015 with the iconic "Biswa Bangla" (World Bengal) globe. The globe depicted the location of West Bengal in the world with the Bengali letter "ব". Sadly, the globe was removed after the 2026 state election for political reasons, as Biswa Bangla has become a symbol of the 2011–2026 Trinamool Congress (TMC) regime. Nonetheless, the park still remains as one of the few green spaces in Old Digha.

Dheusagar

Flexible

A large seaside space with activities like boating and bungee jumping.

New Digha Beach

Flexible

One of the most popular beaches in West Bengal, and the best place for a safe dip. The beach here is flat and it gets overcrowded, especially during the cooler winter break. Beer is generally served at the beach by the enterprising locals who would accept payment later by coming with you to your hotel. Beware, they may ask a high price for beer.

Old Digha Beach

Flexible

The original beach, popular among older generations. However, Old Digha is not safe and conducive for bathing. It is not as wide as it used to be due to heavy soil erosion. Big stones and concrete steps are used to hold together the beach.

Mohana Beach

Flexible

A less-visited beach at the estuary of the Champa River. There's a fish market at the beach.

Talasari Beach

Flexible

There is a river by the beach. It gets submerged with high tide. The river gets dried up twice a day. Again it gets filled with water once there is high tide.
