Kaylana Lake

Kaylana Lake is located 8 km west of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India. It is an artificial lake, built by Pratap Singh in 1872. The lake spreads over an area of 0.84 km2 (0.32 sq mi). In ancient times this region had palaces and gardens made by two rulers of Jodhpur - Bhim Singh and Takhat Singh. These were destroyed to make Kaylana Lake.

Mehrangarh Fort

Dominates the city and is the largest fort in all Rajasthan. Founded in 1458 as the site of Rao Jodha's new capital — hence the name, Jodhpur — the city has grown around it, and in the 500 years that have passed the fort has never been taken by force. It's easy to see why: it occupies the entire top of a 150-m hill with commanding views all around, with 3 km of massive ramparts built around the edges. An English-owned company 'Flying Fox' operate a zipline tour in the beautiful Chokelao Gardens within the fort. Mehrangarh is a historic fort located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.

Umaid Bhawan Palace

Umaid Bhawan Palace, located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, is one of the world's largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. It is named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner, Gaj Singh. The palace has 347 rooms and is the principal residence of the former Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace is a museum.

Balsamand Lake

Balsamand Lake is a lake situated 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Jodhpur on Jodhpur-Mandore Road. This lake is a popular picnic spot, by Balak Rao Pratihar in 1159 AD who belongs to the kshatriya community. It was designed as a water reservoir to provide water to Mandore. The lake has a length of one kilometre (0.62 mi), breadth of 50 metres (160 ft) and a depth of 15 metres (49 ft). Balsamand Lake is a lake situated 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Jodhpur on Jodhpur-Mandore Road.

Sardar Government Museum

The Sardar Government Museum (also known as Jodhpur Government Museum, Jodhpur State Museum or Museum Jodhpur) is located in Public Park (Ummed Bagh), Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. The museum is named in memory of Maharaja Sardar Singh, a ruler of Jodhpur from 1895 to 1911. It was constructed under the reign of his son, Maharaja Umed Singh. It was built by Henry Vaughan Lanchester in 1909 and formally opened to the public on 17 March, 1936. The area of the museum is approx. 18,000 sq.ft.

Jaswant Thada

Royal cenotaphs built in marble, with a picturesque location next to a natural desert lake with lots of birds. Great view over the city and of the fort, as well as small well-kept gardens. The Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph located in Jodhpur, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and serves as the cremation ground for the royal Rajput family of Marwar. The cenotaph is built out of intricately carved sheets of Makrana marble.
