Chandragiri Fort

Bekal Fort

Ananthapura Lake Temple

Surrounded on all sides by water and reached via a causeway, Ananthapura’s Vishnu shrine holds a legendary status as the "moolasthanam," or original site, from which the deity is said to have travelled south to Thiruvananthapuram, and a resident crocodile in the temple tank, regarded locally as the shrine’s guardian, has long been part of local lore. Ananthapura Lake Temple is typically explored in about 1 hour. The best time to visit is October to March. Madhur Temple

Madhur Shree Madanantheshwara-Siddhivinayaka Temple is a popular Shiva and Ganapathi temple located 7 km (4.3 mi) from Kasaragod town, on the banks of Mogral river, locally known as Madhuvahini. Though the main deity of this temple is Lord Shiva known as Madanantheshwara, meaning the god who killed Kama, the god of desires, more importance is given to Lord Ganapathi, who is installed facing south in the main sanctum itself. Priests of this temple belong to the Shivalli Brahmin community. Kashi Vishwanatha, Dharmasastha, Subrahmanya, Durga Parameshwari, Veerabhadra and Gulika are the sub-deities of this temple. There is also presence of Goddess Parvati inside the main sanctum.

Our Lady of Sorrows Church

Bela Church, also Our Lady of Sorrows Church, is a Roman Catholic church in the Kasargode district of Kerala state, South India, 15 km north of Kasaragod, and 50 km away from Mangalore. It was built in 1890 and is the oldest church in the district. This Gothic Revival Roman Catholic church is under the Manglore Diocese. The church recently celebrated its centenary and undergone renovations. In 2021, Fr Stany Pereira became the 10th parish priest of the church.

ICAR-Central Plantation Crops Research Institute CPCRI New website url. https://cpcri.gov.in The Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) https://cpcri.gov.in/page is a central research institute for plantation crops, headquartered in Kasargod, Kerala in India. It was established in 1970 as one of the agricultural research institutes in the National Agricultural Research System (NARS) under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Government of India. The Institute has the mandate to undertake research on coconut, areca nut, palmyra, and cocoa.
