Nagarhole Itineraries

Day 1: Safari Dawn to Kabini Dusk

Begin before sunrise with a core-zone jeep safari from Veeranahosahalli gate, tracking tigers and elephants along forest trails. After a relaxed lunch and rest, head to the Nagarahole boat jetty for an evening cruise along the Kabini backwaters, watching herds and waterbirds from the water.

Day 1

Begin with an early morning jeep safari from Veeranahosahalli gate into the core zone, where dense forests and waterholes offer high chances of spotting tigers, elephants, and gaur. After lunch, take a late afternoon boat safari from the Nagarahole side along the Kabini backwaters, watching herds of elephants and waterbirds as the sun sets.

Day 2

Head out for a second jeep safari, this time from Nanachi gate, to explore a different part of the park known for tiger activity and birdlife. Post-safari, visit Taraka Dam for a short nature walk and birdwatching, then enjoy a leisurely afternoon before departing.

Day 1

Arrive in Nagarhole, settle into your jungle lodge, and take a leisurely afternoon boat safari along the Kabini backwaters to spot elephants and waterbirds from the water.

Day 2

Rise early for a core-zone jeep safari through the park's dense forests, then relax during the heat of the day. In the late afternoon, drive to Taraka Dam for a serene wildlife-watching session by the reservoir.

Day 1: Arrival & Kabini Backwaters Boat Safari

Arrive in Nagarhole, settle into your lodge or forest rest house, and take an afternoon boat safari along the Kabini backwaters to spot elephants, crocodiles, and waterbirds. End the day with a relaxed sunset at the water's edge.

Day 2: Core Zone Jeep Safari & Taraka Dam

Start early with a forest department jeep safari into the core zone from Veeranahosahalli gate, then visit the Taraka Dam reservoir for a picnic and birdwatching. Return for a late afternoon nature walk near your lodge.

Day 1

Arrive in Nagarhole, settle into your jungle lodge, and take an introductory evening safari to get your first taste of the park's wildlife. Enjoy a calm dinner under the stars.

Day 2

Start early with a core-zone jeep safari from Veeranahosahalli gate, then spend the afternoon at Taraka Dam, a serene reservoir within the park. Learn about the park's history and the Nagarahole River.
