Church and Convent of St. Francis of Assisi

The Church of St. Francis of Assisi was built in 1661 by the Portuguese in the Portuguese Viceroyalty of India. The Church of St. Francis of Assisi, together with a convent, was established by eight Portuguese Franciscan friars who landed in Goa in 1517. It stands on the site of the principal mosque of the Adil Shahi city, later demolished. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Churches and convents of Goa. The Church of St. Francis of Assisi was built in 1661 by the Portuguese in the Portuguese Viceroyalty of India.

Shree Betal temple

Shri Betal temple is a Hindu temple in Amona village in the Bicholim taluk of Goa, India. The presiding deity is Betal who is worshiped as a Bhairava form of Shiva in the form of a warrior; normally the idol of Shree Betal is standing in the temple, but during festivals his idol is displayed on a horse back in the village. He is the Gram devata (village lord) of Amona. There is a temple of Shri Betal in a village named as "Gorli" in Pauri Gharwal district of Uttrakhand. Betal is also the village's gramadevata (village deity).

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church

The Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church is located in Panjim, Goa, India. The Church conducts Mass every day in English, Konkani, and Portuguese. The colonial Portuguese Baroque style church was first built in 1541 as a chapel on a hill side overlooking the city of Panaji .It was eventually replaced by a larger church in the 1600s as part of Portuguese Goa's religious expansion. This church houses the ancient bell that was removed from the Augustinian ruins of the Church of Our Lady of Grace in the once famed city of Old Goa. This bell is considered to be the second largest of its kind in Goa, surpassed only by the Golden Bell which resides in the Sé Cathedral in Old Goa.

Basilica of Bom Jesus

Home to the grave of St. Francis Xavier. The Basilica of Bom Jesus is a Catholic basilica in Goa, in the Konkan region of India. The church is a pilgrimage centre and recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The basilica is located in Old Goa, the former capital of Portuguese India, and holds the body of St Francis Xavier. Bom Jesus (meaning, "Good Jesus" in Portuguese) is the name used for the Ecce Homo in Portuguese speaking countries.

Temple is known for the miracles of Water Goddess Mandodari and sacrifice made by the villagers. Water Goddess, Mandodari is the chief deity of the temple. Our Lady of Grace Church is a Roman Catholic church in Chorão, Goa, India. It is bounded on its north and west by the Mapusa River, with Salvador do Mundo remaining exactly opposite to it.
