Shankaragaurishvara Temple

The Shankaragaurishvara Temple is a 9th century Hindu temple attributed to the Utpala dynasty. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu god, Shiva and located in Pattan, in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The temple was built by king Shankaravarman of the Utpala dynasty of Kashmir, who ruled between 883 and 902 AD. The temple is in a dilapidated condition and worship is no longer conducted. It is built in a style similar to the Shankaracharya Temple.

Waskura Lake

Waskura Lake or Waskura Sar is a rural freshwater lake rested in the scenic landscapes of Kashmir Valley, situated about 13 km west of Ganderbal town in Waskura village of Ganderbal district in Jammu and Kashmir, India. With an altitude of 1590 meters above sea level, the lake lies within the geographical coordinates of 34°-16 N latitude and 74°-39 E longitude. It is closely connected to the right bank of the Jhelum River by a small channel. Waskura Lake or Waskura Sar is a rural freshwater lake rested in the scenic landscapes of Kashmir Valley, situated about 13 km west of Ganderbal town in Waskura village of Ganderbal district in Jammu and Kashmir, India.

Narayanbagh Lake

Naryanbagh Lake or Narayanbagh Sar is a shallow lake situated 14 km from Ganderbal town & 30 kilometers from Srinagar city in between the Dab and Narayanbagh villages of Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Covering an area of 24.3 hectares, it lies at an altitude of 1587 meters. The lake is classified as a semi-drainage type, primarily fed by springs within its basin, and reaches a maximum depth of 5 meters. Naryanbagh Lake or Narayanbagh Sar is a shallow lake situated 14 km from Ganderbal town & 30 kilometers from Srinagar city in between the Dab and Narayanbagh villages of Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, India.
