Hussain Sagar

Hussain Sagar is a heart-shaped lake in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, built by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah in 1562. It is spread across an area of 5.7 square kilometres (2.2 sq mi) and is fed by the River Musi. A large monolithic statue of the Gautama Buddha, erected in 1992, stands on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of the lake. The lake separates the city centre of Hyderabad from the neighbourhood of Secunderabad. The maximum depth of the lake is 32 feet (9.8 m).

Monda Market

Monda Market is a vegetable market located at Secunderabad. It is said to have been established in 1870s to cater to resident British army units. The market is located approximately at 500 m (0.31 mi) from Secunderabad Railway Station. It was one of the largest wholesale and retail markets in Hyderabad. Officially about 375 traders have business in the Monda Market.

Saidani Ma Tomb

Saidani Ma Tomb, also spelt Saidani Maa Tomb (also known as Maqbara Saidani Ma Saheba), is a tomb in Hyderabad, India. It is a 19th-century state-protected monument of Telangana, near Tank Bund on the banks of Hyderabad’s Hussain Sagar. The tomb in Mughal and Qutb Shahi styles with elaborate stucco decorations and fretwork screens (jalis) was built by Nawab Abdul Haq Diler Jung, one of the richest nobles of the time, in memory of his mother Hazrath Saidani Ma Saheba in 1883, during the reign of Asaf Jah VI. Sardar Abdul Haq, who was originally from the Bombay Province bore the title Diler Jang.

Chiraan Fort Palace

Aiwan-i Begumpet, also known as Chiraan Fort Palace (Chiran Fort Club), and Devdi Fareed Nawaz Jung, or Devdi Nazir Nawaz Jung, was built in 1880 by Sir Viqar-ul-Umra, Amir of the Great Paigah Dynasty of Deccan, who served as Prime Minister of Hyderabad. The palace was built after the construction of Falaknuma Palace gifted to the sixth Nizam of Hyderabad Mir Mahbub Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VI. Devdi is one of the complexes in the Paigah Palace residence house of the Paigah Nobility. In the hierarchy of nobles of Hyderabad, the Paigah family ranked immediately next to the ruling family of Nizams.

Centenary Baptist Church Secunderabad

STBC-Centenary Baptist Church Secunderabad is a Baptist Church in the city of Secunderabad, India which was established in 1875 by the American Baptist Foreign Mission Society (ABM) and was later led by the Samavesam of Telugu Baptist Churches (STBC) through the Deccan Association. STBC-Centenary Baptist Church has a current membership of more than 3000. The original older structure and a new centenary structure built in 1991 exist side by side in the same premises. Worship services are only held in the new sanctuary. The church conducts worship in Telugu, English, Hindi and Manipuri.

Shahi Masjid

The Shahi Masjid, also known as the Masjid Awan e Shahi, the Public Garden Mosque, and as the Bagh E Aam ke Masjid, is a mosque, located within the Public Gardens, adjacent to Telangana Legislative Assembly, in Hyderabad, in the Hyderabad district of the state of Telangana, India. In 1924 the Nizam of Hyderabad Mir Osman Ali Khan commissioned the construction of the Shahi Masjid thru "the City Improvement Board" and was completed in 1933. The mosque served as a principal mosque for the VII Nizam and his courtiers.

Parsi Fire Temple

Parsi Fire Temple is a place of worship for the Parsis in India. Located at MG Road in Secunderabad, Telangana, the temple is believed to have been consecrated in September 1847. The temple was built by two brothers and traders, Pestonji Meherji and Viccaji Meherji, who had settled down in Secunderabad. In addition to the temple, the compound also has residential and commercial buildings. The Parsi population in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad is the second largest in India outside Mumbai.

The Musheerabad Mosque, also known as the Masjid e Kalan, and as the Musheerabad Badi Masjid, and as the Jama Masjid Musheerabad, is a mosque located in the Musheerabad locality of Hyderabad, in the Hyderabad district of the state of Telangana, India. The original portion was constructed in 1560 CE by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah, the fourth Sultan of the Qutb Shahi dynasty and is identical to the Hayat Bakshi Mosque located in Hayathnagar area of Hyderabad.

The Masjid-e-chowk, also known as Chowk Ke Masjid or Jama Masjid Chowk, is a mosque located in the Mahboob Chowk Clock Tower, in Hyderabad, in the Hyderabad district of the state of Telangana, India. The mosque was constructed in 1817 by Khaja Abdullah Khan. The mosque was initially constructed with a three-arched façade. Later four arches were added by extending the structure and the two minarets in the front of rectangular hall. Rashtrapati Nilayam

The official retreat of the President of India in Hyderabad, where the President stays for at least two weeks during winter and conducts official business.
