Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Nashik in the morning. Drive from Nashik to Alandi (about 196 km, 4 hrs) and from Alandi to Pune (about 21 km, 30 min). Check in at your hotel in Pune. At Alandi on the Indrayani, have darshan at the samadhi of Sant Dnyaneshwar, the 13th-century saint-poet who wrote the Dnyaneshwari, his Marathi commentary on the Gita, and entered samadhi here in 1296 at the age of 21. See the old ajanvriksha tree in the temple courtyard and the wall on which, the story goes, the saint rode to meet the yogi Changdev. Walk the ghats of the Indrayani, then drive on to Pune. Overnight stay in Pune.
