Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Raipur in the morning. Drive from Raipur to Amarkantak (about 240 km, 4 hrs 45 min). Check in at your hotel in Amarkantak. Drive up into the forested Maikal hills to Amarkantak. Visit the Narmada Udgam, the tank and temple complex at the source of the Narmada, and the group of 11th-century Kalachuri temples behind it, including the Karna temple. Attend the evening aarti at the source. Overnight stay in Amarkantak.

Kapildhara, Sonmuda and back
