Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Dehradun in the morning. Drive from Dehradun to Bhimtal (about 307 km, 6 hrs). Check in at your hotel in Bhimtal. Bhimtal is a quieter lake town than Nainital. Row out to the island in the middle of the lake, see the old Bhimeshwar Mahadev temple on the bank, said to have been built by the Pandava Bhima, and walk along the Victoria dam. Visit the butterfly and moth museum at Jones Estate if it is open, and watch the evening over the water. Overnight stay in Bhimtal.

Naukuchiatal and Sattal
Drive to Naukuchiatal, the lake of nine corners, for a boat ride or a paragliding flight in season. Go on to Sattal, a group of linked lakes in oak and pine forest, good for bird watching, and see the Christian ashram on its shore. Then head home. Drive from Bhimtal to Naukuchiatal (about 15 km, 30 min), from Naukuchiatal to Sattal (about 17 km, 30 min) and from Sattal to Dehradun (about 309 km, 6 hrs 15 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Dehradun.
