Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Mysuru in the morning. Drive from Mysuru to Somanathapura (about 35 km, 45 min), from Somanathapura to Talakadu (about 25 km, 30 min) and from Talakadu to BR Hills (about 45 km, 1 hr). Check in at your hotel in BR Hills. See the Keshava temple at Somanathapura, built in 1268, the most complete Hoysala temple, on a star-shaped plinth with three shrines and finely carved walls. At Talakadu on the Kaveri, walk across the sand dunes that buried an old town, legend says by the curse of a queen, to the uncovered Vaidyeshwara temple. In the afternoon, drive up into the BR hills. Overnight stay in BR Hills.

Biligiri Rangaswamy and back

Drive from BR Hills to Mysuru (about 83 km, 1 hr 45 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Mysuru. The tour ends here.
