Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Coimbatore in the morning. Drive from Coimbatore to BR Hills (about 176 km, 3 hrs 30 min). Check in at your hotel in BR Hills. Drive past Chamarajanagar into the Biligiri Rangana hills, where the Western and Eastern Ghats meet; the forest here is a tiger reserve (BRT) and a corridor for elephants. Check in at your forest stay and go on the afternoon safari, looking for gaur, sambar, elephants and, with luck, a tiger or leopard. Overnight stay in BR Hills.
