Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Guwahati in the morning. Drive from Guwahati to Shillong (about 99 km, 2 hrs) and from Shillong to Sohra (Cherrapunji) (about 53 km, 1 hr). Check in at your hotel in Sohra (Cherrapunji). Drive up past Umiam Lake to Shillong and on over the plateau to Sohra. On the way in, stop at the Mawkdok Dympep valley viewpoint and the Wahkaba falls, then see the Seven Sisters Falls and the Bangladesh plains from the edge of the plateau at sunset. Overnight stay in Sohra (Cherrapunji).
