Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Jabalpur in the morning. Drive from Jabalpur to Chhindwara (about 218 km, 4 hrs 30 min) and from Chhindwara to Tamia (about 55 km, 1 hr). Check in at your hotel in Tamia. Drive to Chhindwara and see the Simariya Hanuman temple with its giant standing statue of Hanuman. Go on into the Satpura hills to Tamia, a small hill retreat at the edge of a plateau, and watch the sunset over the forested valleys from the viewpoint. Overnight stay in Tamia.

Patalkot valley and home
Drive to the rim of Patalkot, a horseshoe-shaped valley more than 1,000 feet deep, where a few Bharia villages live from the forest and their knowledge of herbs. Walk down a short way with a guide, or look down from the viewpoints, then head home. Drive from Tamia to Patalkot (about 13 km, 15 min) and from Patalkot to Jabalpur (about 201 km, 4 hrs), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Jabalpur. The tour ends here.
