Marudamalai, Perur and Isha
Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Coimbatore in the morning. Drive from Coimbatore to Marudamalai (about 14 km, 15 min), from Marudamalai to Isha Yoga Centre (Adiyogi) (about 27 km, 30 min) and from Isha Yoga Centre (Adiyogi) to Coimbatore (about 30 km, 30 min). Check in at your hotel in Coimbatore. Start at the Eachanari Vinayagar temple, home to one of the largest Ganesha idols in Tamil Nadu, then climb to Marudamalai, the hill temple of Murugan, sometimes called his seventh abode. After lunch, see the 17th-century carved halls of the Perur Patteeswarar temple and drive on to the Isha Yoga Centre for the Dhyanalinga and the evening at the Adiyogi. Overnight stay in Coimbatore.

Drive south to Anaimalai for darshan at the Masani Amman temple, where the goddess lies in a reclining form; devotees grind chillies at the Neethi Kal, the "stone of justice", to seek redress for wrongs. Return to Coimbatore, where the yatra ends. Drive from Coimbatore to Anaimalai (about 58 km, 1 hr 15 min) and from Anaimalai to Coimbatore (about 59 km, 1 hr 15 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Coimbatore.
