Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Trichy in the morning. Drive from Trichy to Marudamalai (about 264 km, 5 hrs 15 min) and from Marudamalai to Coimbatore (about 14 km, 15 min). Check in at your hotel in Coimbatore. Arrive in Coimbatore and drive up to the Marudamalai temple of Murugan on a spur of the Western Ghats, with a view over the city. In the evening, walk in the Race Course area or shop for Coimbatore cotton on the way back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Coimbatore.

Adiyogi and the Isha Yoga Centre
Drive out to the foot of the Velliangiri hills to the Isha Yoga Centre. See the 34 m Adiyogi bust of Shiva, one of the largest in the world, sit in the silence of the domed Dhyanalinga and visit the Linga Bhairavi shrine. On the way back, stop at the Perur Patteeswarar temple with its carved halls, then head home. Drive from Coimbatore to Isha Yoga Centre (Adiyogi) (about 30 km, 30 min) and from Isha Yoga Centre (Adiyogi) to Trichy (about 270 km, 5 hrs 30 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Trichy.
