Day 1

Kolhapur to Dapoli

Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Kolhapur in the morning. Drive from Kolhapur to Dapoli (about 225 km, 4 hrs 30 min). Check in at your hotel in Dapoli. Check in at a beach-side homestay and have a Konkani fish or veg thali for lunch. Visit Murud and Karde beaches in the afternoon, and in the evening go to Harnai port for the lively fish auction and the view of Suvarnadurg sea fort. Overnight stay in Dapoli.

Day 2

Dolphins, Anjarle and back to Kolhapur

Take an early boat from Karde or Ladghar to look for dolphins (sightings are common from November to February). Then visit the Kadyavarcha Ganpati temple on the cliff at Anjarle, and the Buddhist rock-cut Panhalekaji caves if time allows, before heading home. Drive from Dapoli to Kolhapur (about 225 km, 4 hrs 30 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Kolhapur. The tour ends here.
