Dehu and the Gatha Mandir
Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Pune in the morning. Drive from Pune to Dehu (about 28 km, 30 min) and from Dehu to Pune (about 28 km, 30 min). Check in at your hotel in Pune. Have darshan at the Vitthal-Rukmini temple of Dehu, where Sant Tukaram's palkhi begins the wari to Pandharpur each Ashadh. Sit in the Shila Mandir by the stone on which, the faithful say, Tukaram sat thirteen days until his verses, thrown into the Indrayani, came back unharmed. Read his abhangas on the walls of the Gatha Mandir and join the evening bhajan. Overnight stay in Pune.

Alandi samadhi
Drive to Alandi for darshan at the samadhi of Sant Dnyaneshwar, the start of his palkhi to Pandharpur, and the Vitthal temple beside it. Take a dip at the Indrayani ghat before returning to Pune. Drive from Pune to Alandi (about 22 km, 30 min) and from Alandi to Pune (about 21 km, 30 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Pune. The tour ends here.
