Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Nashik in the morning. Drive from Nashik to Dehu (about 197 km, 4 hrs) and from Dehu to Pune (about 28 km, 30 min). Check in at your hotel in Pune. Drive to Dehu on the Indrayani, the village of Sant Tukaram, the 17th-century Varkari poet whose abhangas are still sung on the road to Pandharpur. Have darshan at the Vitthal-Rukmini temple his family looked after, see the Shila Mandir with the stone on which he sat, and the Gatha temple, whose walls are carved with his thousands of verses. Climb Bhandara hill, where he meditated, before returning to Pune. Overnight stay in Pune.
