Devprayag sangam
Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Rishikesh in the morning. Drive from Rishikesh to Devprayag (about 72 km, 1 hr 45 min). Check in at your hotel in Devprayag. Drive up the Ganga valley from Rishikesh to Devprayag, where the green Bhagirathi and the brown Alaknanda meet to become the Ganga. Go down the steps to the sangam for a holy dip at the chained ghat, and climb to the Raghunath ji temple, linked with Lord Rama's penance after the war with Ravana. Attend the evening aarti at the sangam. Overnight stay in Devprayag.

Bathe at the sangam at sunrise and have darshan at the Raghunath ji temple, then drive back down the Ganga valley, stopping at the river beaches of Shivpuri, to Rishikesh. Drive from Devprayag to Shivpuri (Rishikesh) (about 54 km, 1 hr 30 min) and from Shivpuri (Rishikesh) to Rishikesh (about 20 km, 30 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Rishikesh.
