Day 1

Visakhapatnam to Haridwar

Reach Haridwar by train from Visakhapatnam, where our driver meets you. Check in at your hotel in Haridwar. Check in at Haridwar and take the ropeway up to the Mansa Devi temple. In the evening, go early to Har Ki Pauri for the Ganga aarti, with thousands of floating lamps. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 2

Haridwar to Rishikesh

Today's travel: from Haridwar to Rishikesh (about 24 km, 30 min). Take the ropeway to the Chandi Devi temple in the morning, then drive to Rishikesh. Walk across Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, browse the shops along the river, and attend the evening aarti at Triveni Ghat or Parmarth Niketan. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Rishikesh to Visakhapatnam

Visit the Beatles Ashram, now covered in murals, and Parmarth Niketan in the morning. River rafting from Shivpuri can be arranged if you like (paid separately, about September to June). Start home after lunch. Drive from Rishikesh to Haridwar (about 20 km, 30 min). Board the train from Haridwar back to Visakhapatnam (about 1,905 km), and the tour ends.
