Haldwani to Haridwar
Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Haldwani in the morning. Drive from Haldwani to Haridwar (about 231 km, 4 hrs 30 min). Check in at your hotel in Haridwar. Drive west through the Terai via Kashipur and Najibabad. Take the ropeway up Bilwa Parvat to the Mansa Devi temple for darshan and a view over the Ganga and the town. Visit the Maya Devi temple, one of the Shakti Peethas and among the oldest temples of Haridwar, and walk through the bazaars of Bara Bazar. Be at Har Ki Pauri well before sunset for the Ganga aarti, when hundreds of lamps are raised to the river and leaf-boats of flowers float away downstream. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
