Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Nagpur in the morning. Drive from Nagpur to Bhedaghat (about 271 km, 5 hrs 30 min) and from Bhedaghat to Jabalpur (about 26 km, 30 min). Check in at your hotel in Jabalpur. At Bhedaghat, the Narmada flows for about 3 km between cliffs of white and grey marble. Take the rowing boat up the gorge, where the boatmen tell the stories of each rock, and see the Dhuandhar falls, where the river crashes down in a cloud of spray; there is a ropeway across. Climb the steps to the 10th-century Chausath Yogini temple with its circle of goddess figures. On a full-moon night, the boat ride by moonlight is famous. Overnight stay in Jabalpur.
