Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Shivamogga in the morning. Drive from Shivamogga to Sagar (about 82 km, 1 hr 30 min) and from Sagar to Jog Falls (about 28 km, 45 min). Check in at your hotel in Jog Falls. Drive to Sagar and visit Ikkeri and Keladi, the early capitals of the Keladi Nayakas, who ruled this part of Karnataka in the 16th and 17th centuries: the granite Aghoreshwara temple at Ikkeri with its huge Nandi, and the Rameshwara temple and small museum at Keladi. Reach Jog in the afternoon and see the four falls, Raja, Rani, Rocket and Roarer, from the viewpoints across the gorge. Overnight stay in Jog Falls.

Jog in the morning and back
See the falls again in the morning light, when rainbows often form in the spray; if open, walk down the steps towards the base (a steep climb back). Then drive back to Shivamogga. Drive from Jog Falls to Shivamogga (about 133 km, 2 hrs 45 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Shivamogga. The tour ends here.
