Day 1

Gurgaon to Prayagraj

Reach Prayagraj by train from Gurgaon, where our driver meets you. Check in at your hotel in Prayagraj. Check in at Prayagraj and take a boat out to the Triveni Sangam for the holy dip where the Ganga, Yamuna and the unseen Saraswati meet; boatmen will help with the rituals. Visit the Bade Hanuman Mandir beside the Sangam and Anand Bhawan, the Nehru family home. Overnight stay in Prayagraj.

Day 2

In the evening, take your place early at Dashashwamedh Ghat for the Ganga Aarti, or watch it from a boat. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Pilgrims perform pind daan for their ancestors at the Vishnupad Temple and on the Phalgu ghats; a local priest can arrange the rituals. Continue to Bodh Gaya and visit the Mahabodhi Temple and the Bodhi Tree in the calm of the evening. Overnight stay in Bodh Gaya.
