Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Dehradun in the morning. Drive from Dehradun to Kotdwar (about 125 km, 2 hrs 30 min) and from Kotdwar to Lansdowne (about 44 km, 1 hr). Check in at your hotel in Lansdowne. At Kotdwar, have darshan at the Siddhbali temple of Hanuman on a hillock above the Khoh river. Drive up to Lansdowne, the home of the Garhwal Rifles, and see the regimental museum (Darwan Singh Museum) and the old St Mary's church, and watch the sunset from Tip-n-Top. Overnight stay in Lansdowne.

Bhulla Tal and Kanvashram
Walk round Bhulla Tal in Lansdowne, then drive down to Kanvashram on the Malini river, where the sage Kanva is said to have raised Shakuntala and where Bharata was born. Then head home.
