Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Hyderabad in the morning. Drive from Hyderabad to Kurnool (about 213 km, 4 hrs 15 min). Check in at your hotel in Kurnool. Drive south to Kurnool. Climb the Konda Reddy Buruju, the gateway tower of the old fort and the symbol of the town, then drive out to Orvakal, a park of giant balanced granite boulders around small lakes, at its best in the late afternoon light. Overnight stay in Kurnool.

Belum Caves and back to Hyderabad
Drive to the Belum Caves, the longest known cave system in the plains of India, of which about 1.5 km is open to visitors. The lit path leads down past stalactites and stalagmites to the Patalganga, an underground stream, and through chambers with names like the Thousand Hoods. It is warm and humid inside: wear light clothes and good shoes. Drive back to Hyderabad afterwards; it is a long day. Drive from Kurnool to Belum Caves (about 107 km, 2 hrs) and from Belum Caves to Hyderabad (about 319 km, 6 hrs 30 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Hyderabad. The tour ends here.
