Day 1

Agra to Lansdowne

Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Agra in the morning. Drive from Agra to Lansdowne (about 424 km, 8 hrs 30 min). Check in at your hotel in Lansdowne. Stop at the Siddhbali temple on the river at Kotdwar before the climb. In Lansdowne, visit the Darwan Singh regimental museum of the Garhwal Rifles (closed on some days, check locally) and the war memorial, then go boating on Bhulla Tal. Walk to St Mary's Church in the evening. Overnight stay in Lansdowne.

Tip-n-Top and back to Agra

Go up to Tip-n-Top (Tiffin Top) early for the view of the Garhwal and Kumaon snow peaks on a clear morning, and visit the Santoshi Mata temple nearby. If you have extra time, the Tarkeshwar Mahadev temple in a deodar forest is about 36 km away. Drive from Lansdowne to Agra (about 425 km, 8 hrs 30 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Agra. The tour ends here.
