Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Mumbai in the morning. Drive from Mumbai to Lonavala (about 82 km, 1 hr 30 min). Check in at your hotel in Lonavala. Drive up the expressway and the Bhor ghat to Lonavala and check in. See Tiger's Leap and Lion's Point, where the clouds roll up the cliffs in the monsoon, then drive out to Pawna lake for the sunset over the water and the forts of Tung and Tikona. Overnight stay in Lonavala.

A late breakfast, then the Karla caves, a great Buddhist chaitya hall cut into the rock over 2,000 years ago. Shop for chikki on the way out and drive back to Mumbai. Drive from Lonavala to Karla (about 9 km, 15 min) and from Karla to Mumbai (about 92 km, 1 hr 45 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Mumbai. The tour ends here.
