Day 1

Visakhapatnam to Mantralayam

Reach Adoni by train from Visakhapatnam, where our driver meets you. Drive from Adoni to Mantralayam (about 49 km, 1 hr). Check in at your hotel in Mantralayam. Bathe at the Tungabhadra ghats, as is the custom, and first visit the Manchalamma temple, the village goddess, before the Brindavana of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. Traditional dress is expected; men remove shirts in the inner area. Attend the evening rathotsava (chariot procession) if it is held that day. Overnight stay in Mantralayam.

Day 2

Panchamukhi and back to Visakhapatnam

After the morning pooja, drive to Panchamukhi, about 20 km away in Karnataka, where Sri Raghavendra Swamy is said to have meditated and had a vision of the five-faced Hanuman, before heading home. Drive from Mantralayam to Adoni (about 49 km, 1 hr). Board the train from Adoni back to Visakhapatnam (about 775 km), and the tour ends.
