Day 1

Kolhapur to Matheran

Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Kolhapur in the morning. Drive from Kolhapur to Matheran (about 338 km, 6 hrs 45 min). Check in at your hotel in Matheran. The cab stops at Dasturi Naka, from where you walk about 2.5 km, ride a horse or take a hand-pulled rickshaw to your hotel; porters carry the bags.
