Patna to Munnar

Reach Aluva by train from Patna, where our driver meets you. Drive from Aluva to Munnar (about 111 km, 2 hrs 15 min). Check in at your hotel in Munnar. The road up winds through rubber and tea estates, with the Cheeyappara and Valara falls right beside the highway. Check in at Munnar and take an evening walk through the town market. Munnar sightseeing

Start at 8 am for Eravikulam National Park, home of the Nilgiri tahr (usually closed for a few weeks in February–March). Visit the Tea Museum, then Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point among the tea gardens. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Munnar to Patna

Stop at the Attukad waterfalls in the tea estates on the way down. Drive from Munnar to Aluva (about 111 km, 2 hrs 15 min). Board the train from Aluva back to Patna (about 2,461 km), and the tour ends.
