Mysore to Murudeshwar

Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Mysore in the morning. Drive from Mysuru to Murudeshwar (about 406 km, 8 hrs). Check in at your hotel in Murudeshwar. Check in and visit the Murudeshwar temple and the huge seated Shiva on Kanduka Hill. Take the lift up the Raja Gopura for the view over the sea and the statue. Spend the evening on the beach beside the temple. Overnight stay in Murudeshwar.

Netrani and back to Mysore

If you like snorkelling or scuba diving, book a morning trip to Netrani Island, about an hour away by boat (October to May, weather permitting; paid separately). Otherwise, relax on the beach before leaving. Drive from Murudeshwar to Mysuru (about 406 km, 8 hrs), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Mysore. The tour ends here.
