Chamundeshwari and Nanjangud
Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Mysuru in the morning. Drive from Mysuru to Nanjangud (about 23 km, 30 min) and from Nanjangud to Mysuru (about 23 km, 30 min). Check in at your hotel in Mysuru. Begin with early darshan at the Chamundeshwari temple on Chamundi Hills, the family deity of the Mysuru kings, and see the great stone Nandi on the way down. In the afternoon, drive to Nanjangud on the Kapila for darshan of Srikanteshwara, the Shiva who is said to have swallowed the poison of the churning ocean, in one of the largest temples of the region. Overnight stay in Mysuru.

Srirangapatna and Melukote
Have darshan at the Ranganathaswamy temple in Srirangapatna, one of the five Pancharanga shrines of Vishnu on the Kaveri. Drive on to Melukote, where the saint Ramanuja lived for years, to the Cheluvanarayana Swamy temple and the Yoga Narasimha temple on the hilltop. Then the journey home. Drive from Mysuru to Srirangapatna (about 19 km, 30 min) and from Srirangapatna to Mysuru (about 19 km, 30 min), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Mysuru. The tour ends here.
