Our driver picks you up from your hotel or home in Jhansi in the morning. Drive from Jhansi to Orchha (about 18 km, 30 min). Check in at your hotel in Orchha. Start at Jhansi fort and the Rani Mahal, where Rani Lakshmibai lived and held out against the British in 1858. Drive to Orchha, founded by the Bundela Rudra Pratap in 1531, and see the Raja Mahal and Jahangir Mahal; stay for the light and sound show at the fort. Overnight stay in Orchha.
