Go up Palani hill early, by the winch train, the rope car or the 690 steps, for darshan of Lord Dhandayuthapani, Murugan as the young ascetic holding a staff, whose idol is said to be made of nine minerals (navapashanam). Try the famous Palani panchamirtham, then head home. Drive from Palani to Coimbatore (about 105 km, 2 hrs), and drop at your hotel, home or the railway station in Coimbatore. The tour ends here.
