•APSRTC operates daily direct buses from Hyderabad's MGBS (Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station) to Srisailam; journey time is around 6 hours.
•Private AC and non-AC buses are available from Hyderabad's JBS (Jubilee Bus Station) and other points.
•Self-drive is feasible; the road is well-maintained but has many curves and wildlife crossings—drive cautiously, especially at dawn and dusk.

From Vijayawada

Vijayawada to Srisailam is about 220 km via Nandyal or Kurnool. This route is used by pilgrims from the coastal Andhra region.

•APSRTC runs daily services from Vijayawada's Pandit Nehru Bus Station (PNBS) to Srisailam, taking about 6-7 hours.
•The road passes through the Nallamala forest, so expect limited fuel stations—fill up before entering the forest stretch.
•During Maha Shivaratri, special buses are added from Vijayawada and other cities; book tickets in advance.
