Tips

• Plan Dwarkadhish darshan for early morning (around 6-7 AM) or during the evening aarti to experience the flag-changing ritual (dhwaja) atop the shikhara, which happens multiple times daily.
• Carry modest, comfortable clothing and be prepared to remove shoes at temple entrances; lockers are available at Dwarkadhish Temple for storing footwear and belongings.
• For Bet Dwarka, reach Okha (about 30 km from Dwarka) by 8-9 AM to catch a boat; the crossing takes about 20-30 minutes, and the island has its own temple and a small beach.
• The drive between Dwarka and Somnath can be long, so start early and carry water and snacks; consider a stop at Porbandar to visit Kirti Mandir, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, if time permits.
• Check the timing of the Somnath Temple's light-and-show (usually in the evening) and book a nearby hotel in advance, as both towns can get crowded during festival seasons and weekends.
