Ajmer 1 Day Tour Package

A relaxed full day in Ajmer, starting from the railway station at 10 AM. You begin with the old mosque of Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra, then walk into the lanes of the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, one of India's most visited shrines. After a break for lunch, the cab climbs to Taragarh Fort for views over the city, then you come down to Ana Sagar Lake for a slow walk by the water. The day ends at Soniji ki Nasiyan, the famous golden temple of the Jain community, before the driver drops you back at the station by 7 PM.

The driver waits for you outside the main exit of Ajmer Junction railway station at 10:00 AM.

Best time to visit: October to March, when the days are cool and pleasant

• Cover your head and dress modestly at the Dargah; women should carry a scarf
• Leave shoes outside at the Dargah and the Jain temple; avoid leather items at the temple
• The Dargah is very crowded on Fridays and during Urs — plan around it
• Carry water and a cap for the fort and lake, as afternoons can still be warm
• Ignore touts at the Dargah offering paid 'special' darshan

5. Sightseeing Duration: The package covers one day of local sightseeing from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, according to the agreed itinerary. Additional hours, extended sightseeing, or extra kilometres may attract additional charges.
